Celebrating Women in Art: My Experience at the Women in Art Fair

Updated: Nov 17

I’m incredibly grateful to have returned to the Women in Art Fair for the third year running – and what a magical, warm evening it was in London! The private view at gallery@oxo in the iconic OXO Tower Wharf was buzzing with energy. I loved connecting with new collectors, gallerists, fellow artists, and friends – these moments of exchange and support are what make this fair so special.

This year’s edition introduced the inaugural Women in Art Fair Prize, recognising exceptional women artists for their creativity and vision. It’s inspiring to be part of a platform that continues to challenge the gender imbalance in the art world and elevate women’s voices.

I exhibited my “Liz Taylor. Open Doors” series, which explores identity, transformation, and the mythic role of cinema in shaping our collective imagination. Drawing from Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic film roles, the series reflects on the symbolic thresholds we cross between illusion and reality.

Thank you to WIAF for creating such a powerful and inclusive space. I’m honoured to be part of this growing community of women artists reshaping the industry – and already looking forward to next year.

With gratitude,

🖤
