Returning to "Women in Art Fair" in October 2024

Thank you to Women in Art Fair for having me back for the second year in a row!

I’m truly inspired by the talent and diversity in this year’s lineup. It’s always refreshing to witness such a variety of perspectives, and it encourages me to see my own work through a new lens. I’m grateful to be part of this incredible community!

This year, I was showing two works that focus on the mythology of women in film —capturing moments when characters awaken and discover their inner strength. I painted Tippi Hedren in The Birds by Hitchcock and Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, both iconic roles that highlight the transformative power of women on screen.

The private view was electric! I’m so glad I made it over despite it being a double art fair week for me. With WIAF opening on Wednesday, followed by the Other Art Fair installation and opening on Thursday, it was a whirlwind — but an inspiring one at that!
